| Distillery Production Manager, ANGEL’S ENVY
Kyle Henderson currently serves as ANGEL’S ENVY’s Distillery Production Manager, where he oversees the production of all whiskeys from grain to glass. He is responsible for leading the specification maintenance of raw materials and managing warehousing, as well as supervising and implementing all aging techniques and proprietary finishing procedures. As The Senior Blender, Kyle evaluates ANGEL’S ENVY’s whiskeys through each step of the blending process, ensuring every barrel is tasted so that each sip meets the team’s perfectionist standards. Additionally, Kyle co-chairs ANGEL’S ENVY’S innovation department – along with his father, Wes Henderson – where he proposes, develops and delivers new product ideas. Kyle began his career at ANGEL’S ENVY as a Bottling Manager in 2010.
As a young, senior leader within ANGEL’S ENVY, Kyle has made it his goal to not only produce quality spirits that elevate the bourbon category, but to invest in the growth of the distillery’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. He is passionate about giving back to Louisville through volunteer work with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Knights of Columbus and his church, St. Margaret Mary.
Kyle is part of Next Generation Blenders, a worldwide group organized by Bacardi that brings together the rising leaders of its portfolio’s spirit production teams to share knowledge, experience and passion across global spirits categories. Kyle also currently serves on the Technical Committee for the Kentucky Distiller’s Association, which works to discuss, define and evolve best practices within the industry to ensure safety, quality and operational excellence continues to both propser and improve across facilities. Additionally, he sits on Banktastic’s National Millennial Advisory Board, which provides financial institutions with opinions on mobile and digital banking from an under-40 perspective.
Kyle holds an Emilio Bacardi Harvard Business School Executive Leadership Certificate, as well as a globally recognized General Certificate in Distilling from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling.
Kyle resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife and five-year-old daughter.
